Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
With deep apology for the belated post, we write to inform all the Geez-Rite Catholic Community of the Greater New York Area that we will have our Christmas Mass this Saturday, Jan 2, 2010 at our Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes, NYC. Father Awte will be our celebrant. We appreciate all kinds of input in sharing this news. Looking forward to seeing you all with your families and charities.

Final Announcement: Mariam Daarit trip Progress

Dear Family in Christ,With the tireless effort and determination of Agazit Siyoum and the church committee, we have managed to arrange an organized trip to the Mariam Daarit Feast in Rhode Island for May 30th, 2009. There are 12 registered goers so far and we are short of three people to fill the rented van. In this regard, we would like to encourage interested families to join this historic pilgrimage together. Departure from New York will be 8:00 am sharp from 125th and Broadway (in front of the Eritrean Community Center) . For more information contact us by e-mail: eritreancatholics_NY@yahoo.com.
